Colin Wesley Glass - Chairman
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Colin holds a Commerce Degree in Farm Management and a post-graduate Diploma in Accountancy and Corporate Finance from Lincoln University. Colin is married to Paula and they have two young daughters. In addition to his position as Chief Executive of Dairy Holdings Ltd, he is a Director of a number of irrigation and agribusiness companies and has his own farming interests in Mid-Canterbury.
Andrew (Andy) James Ronald Grant
Andy is the Operations Manager of the family farming operation. A 2 shed, 2,000 cow, 850ha, fully self-contained dairy operation. Attending Massey University and completed a Bachelor Applied Science (majoring in Animal Science) and a Post Grad Diploma in Business & Adminstration. Since University, has had a variety of jobs in agriculture and Ag service sector, of note a rural bank manager for 3.5 years. Andy has a supportive and understanding wife, Tam and a young daughter.
Randal David Hanrahan
Randal operates an arable and beef fattening farm at Fairton, and is the third generation of his family to farm on the 307 ha site. Randal and Louise have four young children. Alongside the farming operation Randal also has an agricultural contracting business. He is serving his second term on the Board of Trustees of Ashburton Borough School and currently holds the role of Chairman.
Steven Edzo Broeils Bierema
Steven, originally from the Netherlands migrated to New Zealand in 2004 with his wife Freda & three sons and purchased a farm on Thompsons Track in Rakaia, which is run as a mixed cropping farm & lamb fattening operation. Irrigation development & purchasing a neighbouring property provided the opportunity to join the ALIL scheme. Alongside his ALIL Directorship, Steven is a Rabobank Client Council member, Mid Canterbury Arable Research Group member & National Board member (FAR).
